What data is collected when you use TeamUp Labs - how it's used, where it's stored, your rights.

When feedback is sent to TeamUp Labs via the application, a user id plus the feedback message is stored.
We may use an email address to reply to feedback sent via the application.
The data retention policy for the majority of the above data is that the data will be retained until we learn from a user that they no longer require the data to be retained. This may be by deleting data inside of the application, or by a right to be forgotten request. Session information data is retained for 24 hours. Database backups covering all of the above data are retained for 7 days.
All of the above data, apart from Google profile data, is provided by users, or derived from user provided data (e.g. creation timestamp). We will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties unless we have your permission or are required by law to do so. We will not use your personal information to send you promotional information about third parties.
Users can request, via the feedback facilities, to have their personal data removed. Subject to appropriate checks this will be processed without undue delay and within one month of receipt.

If you believe that any information we are holding on you is incorrect or incomplete, please contact us as soon as possible via the feedback facilities. We will respond to requests within one month.
A data breach is a breach of security leading to accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorised disclosure of or access to personal data transmitted, stored or otherwise processed. Data breaches will be reported to the relevant supervisory authority within 72 hours of becoming aware of the breach, where feasible. If the breach is likely to result in a high risk of adversely affecting individuals’ rights and freedoms, TeamUp Labs will also inform those individuals without undue delay.
Measures are in place to make it difficult for actors to access stored data that they do not have the right to access, to protect against accidental loss, destruction or damage. These include, but are not limited to, automatically upgrading connections to HTTPS encrypted connections, use of Google Authentication, privacy by design and by default, restrictive firewall policies, data backups.
A cookie is a small file which asks permission to be placed on your computer's hard drive. Once you agree, the file is added and the cookie helps analyse web traffic or lets you know when you visit a particular site. Cookies allow web applications to respond to you as an individual. The web application can tailor its operations to your needs, likes and dislikes by gathering and remembering information about your preferences.
We use traffic log cookies to identify which pages are being used. This helps us analyse data about webpage traffic and improve our website in order to tailor it to user needs. We only use this information for statistical analysis purposes and then the data is removed from the system.
Overall, cookies help us provide you with a better website by enabling us to monitor which pages you find useful and which you do not. A cookie in no way gives us access to your computer or any information about you, other than the data you choose to share with us.
You can choose to accept or decline cookies. Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually modify your browser setting to decline cookies if you prefer. This may prevent you from taking full advantage of the website.
